Ice notes

Some Who notes from the August issue of Ice:

 - Entwistle CD _The Rock_ to be reissued on 8/27/96 by Griffin

 - My Generation: The Best of the Who, also due out 8/27 on MCA

 - Live at the Isle of Wight 1970, to be released in England in
mid-September, no US release date scheduled yet.

 - Brief mention in CD Watchdog column that Quad remix has been well-received
by most of ICE readership.  The quote from Ken Sylvester is "...the remaster
of Quad is absolutely incredible.  Full dynamic range restored, crystal
clear...if you don't own this, you're cheating yourself out of a sound
experience unlike any other."


These are not necessarily the opinions of this lister....but thought you'd
all like to know.  I'm still reserving my final judgment.  The MSG shows, on
the other hand, get my unreserved rave.
