Then you've not been to many big cities.  Try Bangkok, Saigon, Seoul, Hong
Kong or any other third world city - not exactly your olfactory nerve's
best friend. ;)  Even certain parts of Tokyo, probably the second cleanest
huge city in Asia (after Singapore) reek foul.
