DC show

<<I had tickets to see him in D.C. last Friday night. Because of the
snowstorm that hit D.C. and Virginia, I had no way of making it up to D.C.
from Richmond for the show.>>

Sorry to hear that Christain. If your are at UofR, I live right down the
street and could have given you a ride!

For the Washington (Bayou) gig, it took me and my friend about 4 1/2 hours to
get there from Ricmond because of the snow storm (usually a 2 hr trip).

There was quite a bit of people there for a snow storm. The Bayou has an
extremely high stage for a club, about four feet. Since I was at the front
(in front of John) my neck was definately hurting by the end of the night. I
don't know if the mix had gotten better since the Tramps show, all I could
here was BASS and no guitar, but this may have been caused by where I was
standing (better then hearing only guitar and no bass). The band was good,
but John didn't seem to be enjoying himself as much as he had at other shows
I've seen. He seemed to be frustrated, because the stage monitors were never
at the right level. (He did drop his standard joke "Someone's always in the
audience shouting about their wife). Unfortunetly, no one was able to see
John after the show (the band was high-tailing it out of town because of the
weather).

I snagged John's set list from off the stage (as well as a pick). The set
was pretty standard for this tour. I was hoping to hear "Peg Leg Peggy"; I
almost went horse sreaming it all night. "One at a Time" would have been
great to, but John told me (after the Tramps show) that he "hates that
fucking song". He said something about Pete rewriting to much of it (The
music was loud at the club, so it was hard to hear exactly what he was
saying, so don't hold me to that)

Anyway, here's the set list (exactly as written, and they did everything on
it) for those who care:
