Take a close look at Pete's hands on the Sell Out cover.  I don't think the
scars and scabs were staged (best seen on the vinyl cover).  An occupational
hazard of windmilling, no doubt...

Also, I was in attendance at the 1989 show in Tacoma WA when Pete punctured his
right hand with the tremolo bar of his Stratocaster.  That unfortunate event was
not staged either.
