Re: Gads, my first posting to the list in ...

In a message dated 96-04-04 18:00:45 EST, you write:

One person who I believe can shed some light on this Bill Bedzyk--hey, Bill,
have you caught up on your incoming e-mail yet? In the meantime, I'll tell
you what I remember.

This band was indeed formed and played at least once in the western half of
the USA (Colorado or California) as a favor to a club owner that was a friend
of theirs. If I recall correctly, John did several other shows out west with
Skunk and one or two other musicians but not Mickey. And what a coincidence
that you should mention Joe Walsh, because around the same time I believe
there was a rumor circulating about John joining a 5-man 'supergroup'. This
is where my memory gets especially fuzzy, but I recall the initials of the
group almost spelled LEPER but instead would've been WEPER (or maybe LEPEW),
standing for Walsh/Entwistle/Palmer or
Powell??/Emerson???/Reagan??????????????????

I suppose these would be good questions to ask John in AOL's nightclub this
evening (is that 8 PM Eastern and thus 7 Central?).

It'd be great to see a list all the shows that John has headlined outside of
The Who. Given the quality and attention to detail of the "Left For Dead"
tour program, such a list would be one way of ensuring that a NEW tour
program for the NEXT Entwistle tour would be as positively received by us
fans!
