Another "cover song"...
Thanks to a friend on Prodigy, I was tipped off to the fact that the 1966
Rocking Vickers 45, "And Then It's Alright" WAS an earlier variation of "The
Kids Are Alright" and not just a variation of the title.
Fortunately, "The Complete Rocking Vicars Collection" is available on CD as a
UK import on Retro/RPM records. I haven't played it yet, but the liner notes
refer to this song as being "an excellent Pete Townshend song (which after
much reworking, became "The Kids Are Alright" on "My Generation")."
A review to follow later... If anyone needs info where to purchase this CD,
e-mail me. However, you may want to wait to hear if it's any good...
