Remember the famous line from the opening of "The Kids Are Alright"? Seems
like Roger's destiny has been fulfilled... On November 5th at the Lincoln
Center Avery Fisher Hall, Roger Daltrey will be performing (with others--ie
Carly Simon, Debra Winger, David Sanborn...) "The Wizard Of Oz In Concert"
("A Benefit for the Children's Defense Fund")

In other "Who News", I picked up a Pete Townshend demos tape today a the
"Music & Movie Memorabilia Expo"... Besides having some poorly taped demos
off of old vinyl boots, it has a full-length demo of "Slip Kid"
(an edited version is on the vinyl "Obscure & Oblique") and demos of
"Uniforms" (seems like better drumming, but the speed is slow on this one),
"Stop Hurting People" (almost entirely in spoken poetry with a nice
synthesizer background), "How Can You Do It Alone" and "Daily Records"... Not
too bad...
