JAE & Rock

Jonathan inquired about JAE and Rock:
I saw JAE in Toronto on Aug. 11, 1988. The lead singer was Henry Small. I
believe Henry was (is?) the lead singer for the Canadian band Prism. It was
a great show with a similar song list to Jonathans. The band was at stadium
volume for a bar setting. There was a great feeling of excitement around the
club all day.I got to talk to JAE and there was a large number of people
hanging around his tour bus. He was in very good spirits and was VERY
friendly with his fans.
A rockline radio program of that month had JAE and Henry Small on for 1.5 hours.
JAE was shopping around some songs that he and others had written. He stated
he wanted a record contract for Rock. One of the songs was called Stranger
in a Strange Land ( can't remember if it had anything to do with the book
).He mentioned that at that time they were touring under his name to
increase the success of the tour and record company interest. I am now
looking at my ticket
stub and it has JAE 's name in large print and Henry Small's in small print.

Thanks for bringing up this topic. It has brought back great memories of a
simpler and younger me. The ticket stub still smell like the beer I spilled
on it.
