Re: Lifehouse

Mark,

I made myself a Lifehouse tape a while back and took my best stab at an
ordering. I included "Bonie Maronie" since it was recorded live at the
Young Vic show. I didn't include "Water" because, well, I didn't think of
it. Here's my order, and my justification.

NOTE: This is, of course, a WILD guess.

"Baba O'Riley" - the known opener
"Pure And Easy" - Beginning of the Lifehouse concept. Sets up the "perfect note".
"Too Much Of Anything" - Characters commenting on the current situation
"Let's See Action" - A call to arms, the start of the movement
"The Relay" - Word about the Lifehouse spreads
"Mary" - Love interest sub-plot.
"Put The Money Down" - Negotiating for a ride to Lifehouse?
"Going Mobile" - People travel to the Lifehouse
"Time Is Passing" - On the way to Lifehouse (still)
"Getting In Tune" - People arrive and hook in.
"Love Ain't For Keeping" - Love interest, part 2.
"Bargain" - An attendee pledges devotion to the Lifehouse
"Behind Blue Eyes" - A traitor betrays the Lifehouse
"Join Together" - The concert is ready to begin
"Bonie Maronie", "Baby Don't You Do It" - The concert scene
"Won't Get Fooled Again" - The raid, Lifehouse is attacked
"Song Is Over" - The conclusion, the attendees disappear.

That was my guess, and I'll be the first to admit it's got flaws. An easy
one is the order of the two love interest songs, and another is the "concert"
section. Who knows. I was really hoping PT would shed some light on this
in the Who's Next liner notes, but it doesn't sound like he did.

Other guesses? Comments?
