Re: Firsts

I can't resist to throw my sordid history into the mix:

First Album: Jaws Soundtrack (gift with my first "stereo")
First album I ever bought: probably a Kiss album...

First exposure to the Who: My older sister's boyfriend blaring WRU in
his car at 120 dB. It's funny that this guy later became a very good
friend who not only bought me beer when I needed it - but loved the
     Who.

Exposure to the Who that clinched my obsession: My mom bought a CED
player - and I ordered TKAA. Ever since then my friends would come
home from school and watch that thing daily for a good solid year.
Thank god both my parents worked. After that I bought MBB&B and
back-tracked through the Who catalog. Turned many people onto the who
     through the TKAA.

First Concert: ELO '81 (Hall and Oates opened!)

     First Who Concert: DC 7/7/89
Best concert ever: Who @ Raleigh, NC 7/27/89

(unfortunately my parents weren't too hip when I was born in '67 - but
I did take them to the Raleigh show - along with 20 other friends...)
