I am paraphrasing here, folks, but I prefer those with drug references, so
here goes... Townshend, when asked about Moons collapse on stage at the
Cow Palace in '73 from a PCP o.d. said: " Keith took a buch of these animal
tranquilizers, but I believe these are ones you are supposed to put in a 
gun and shoot the animal with!" As Lennon said about his own partying at
the same time with Moon, Starr, Nillson, and others:  " If you want to get
down I can get really down right along with the rest of the boys ". 

Drug overdoses aside, few of my friends or myself can come CLOSE to the amount
of partying the friggin' limeys are capable of.  We don't even deserve to
lick the boots of those man enough to take lethal quantities of PCP, or
in Townshend's case, STP (put 'im in a deathlike trance, it did, when he
took it on an airplane somewhere).  All glorification aside, those guys 
were completely outta control.
