"I Can't Explain" solo

  According to Dave Marsh's "Before I Get Old," Page did the rhythm on "I
Can't Explain," but a 12-string was required for the solo.  Page didn't
have one, and Pete wasn't about to loan his to Page, so Pete ended up doing
the solo.
