There is a place here in my town (Rochester, NY) called the Great Great House
of Guitars, supposed to be famous, anyhow they have held contests there (and
still may) for the loudest band. Cannot for the life of me remember the name
of the band, but the volume was said to be outrageous. Give me a couple 'o
days, and I will try to find out all the details. I seem to remember
something on the order of 120+ DB @ 20 ft. Does this sound feasable?
