A dream collaboration.....

For a while a few of the mailing list members have been talking
about a dream duo solo album that would feature Pete Townshend. On
the Neil Young mailing list, someone brought attention to the
similarities between Young and Townshend in terms of dedication and
honesty. My suggestion was to pair the two for an album.

Anyway if you wanted to see another Rough Mix again but this time
someone other than Ronnie Lane who would it be?

Names that come to mind besides Young are : Chet Atkins (he did a
pretty could collaboration with Mark Knofler (sp?).

Joe Walsh (a long time friend of Townshends, probably too easy)

Eric Clapton (this would be near nirvana, they haven't worked
together since Rough Mix)

suggestions? comments?
