feedback on re-releases

Hello, this is Saul Rosenburg, and boy, am I going crazy on this internet
thing, now that I know how to address this stuff so that it goes somewhere
so that somebody can read this stuff! Oh, boy....

Well I just wanted to say to ian, who wanted some kind of opinions on those
re-releases, and I just love them!! Even WITH my shoes off, AND my glasses,
that stuff is just really incredible!! Especially the extended version of
Glow Girl, and also just how the drums are remixed, so that keith moon sounds
like he's right in my room. OH, BOY, that is so amazing.

the rest of this note, I will type in my regular voice ........

Actually, my only complaint about the re-issues is that A QUICK ONE only
clocks in at 56 mins..... plenty of material could have fleshed this out
(IE: DOGS, CALL ME LIGHTNING, DR JECKYLL & MR HYDE, anyone...????) And why
HAPPY JACK was left off is beyond me, considering this was on the original
american release (not to mention the inlay card referencing the song.... oh,
I just mentioned it..).

I guess the dbl cd release of ODDS AND SODS will resolve a lot of my
concerns about those extra tracks.

OH, and BY THE WAY, SHEL TALMY, YOU WEASEL..... WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU
WAITING FOR, FOR CHRIST SAKES???!!! DO YOU MIND??? WHAT, DO YOU HAVE TO BE
NINETY-SEVEN YEARS OLD, AND IN A FUCKIN' WHEELCHAIR BEFORE YOU DECIDE TO
SETTLE FOR SOME BUCKS, AND ALLOW MCA TO RE-RELEASE MY GENERATION, and
CAN'T EXPLAIN, and BALD-HEADED WOMAN, and...... oh, sorry ... I apologize
for the outburst.... any way, you're all probably sick of my blabbing at
this point anyway, so no more msgs from me for today....thanks for allowing
me to vent.

oh, one more thing: I WANT MY MAGIC BUS, DAMMIT!

gary (alias beavis, alias saul rosenburg,
                        alias keith moon).
