Are you referring to the c.1982 Schlitz ("The Who Rocks America", etc.) 
commercials, for the Farewell Tour sponsors?

I don't recall any Michelob commercials of the sort.

Of course, one cannot forget the print ads with RHD for Bulova!  Enough to make 
a (then) teenage female fan coo!  ;^)
