anyone familiar w/ the hendrix box called STAGES?
four CDs, four complete shows, each one from a dif year: 67-68-69-70
very cool set- there's a version of fire on each disc- each one really dif 
from the prev, showing how his playing progressed/regressed/differentiated


i think the lineup is:

67 - england
68 - sweden
69 - san diego
70 - atlanta

anywho, this concept would be great for the who live comp due in 96, altho i 
think the discs/yrs should be:

disc 1:   1969
disc 2:   1971
disc 3:   1973
disc 4:   tough one- maybe a comp, of the best trax from 75-76
