More on JAE Party/Concert/Sponsorship...



Many of you have asked good questions about what's happening with the special
events proceeding the John Entwistle tour starting Jan.24, 1996, let me try
and clarify things for you.

TOUR BOOK
The John Entwistle band and Whistle Rymes USA are offering
200 "Sponsorship packages" for the tour program. The cost is $100.
This will allow you to have 65 characters to print the message of your choice
in John Entwistle's 96' Tour Book.
   
PRIVATE PARTY/CONCERT
There will also be a Private Party/Concert for 200 people in New York City on
Sunday Jan. 21.  The cost for this event is $175 which includes: A 2 hr. open
bar (for those who are 21 or older), buffet and a private concert featuring
The John Entwistle Band.  You will receive an invitation with original
Entwistle cover art  You will also have the opportunity to meet and mingle
with John and the band in a party atmosphere that will last about 4 or 5
hours.  This will NOT be a rushed book signing type event!  John will be on
hand to sign autographs and take pictures. At this time for security reasons
the location is being kept secret.

The details for both the Tour Book and the Party can be found below.

TOUR BOOK
The cost is $100. For that, you send in your money (check, money order )

If using a credit card please include the following  credit card information:

 a) (card type) VISA, Master Card or American Express, 

 b)  the name as it appears on the card, 

 c) the amount you authorize (i.e. $100)  

 d) credit card #, 

 e ) card expiration date and  

 f) authorized signature)

Include: 
a) your name  
b) your address   
c) your phone #   
d) your 65 characters (see below), your money and indicate if you want
tickets for the party/concert and if so, how many.

What you get:

1) An autographed (by John Entwistle) copy of the previously unreleased and
limited edition CD, "The Rock", which has original John Entwistle artwork.

2) The autographed (by John Entwistle) tour program. The program will contain
information about the band, never-before-seen pictures, a full John Entwistle
discography and much more...

3) YOUR name and/or "blurbs" up to 65 characters to be printed in the tour
program.

* The deadline for the above is receipt by December 28 or the first 200
people. (Moneys received afterwards will be returned.)

* Delivery will be approximately Mid-February. 

* If you get your TOUR BOOK sponsorship in by December 15, you may also
purchase up to 2 tickets at the reduced price of $150 each for the John
Entwistle PRIVATE party and concert.  Each additional ticket will be $175.

1) Tickets are now only available EXCLUSIVELY to sponsors. They will become
available to all others on or about December 15.

2) If you've already sent in for sponsorship, you may now purchase up to 2
tickets for $150 per person and each additional ticket for $175.

Since this information has only been posted so far to the "on-line"
community, you as a sponsor have a great chance of receiving a ticket at the
reduced price. Once it gets to the NYC newspapers and radio, chances may be
slim to none of receiving a ticket to this special event. Many people got
turned away from The Who Fest (almost including me) for not acting quick
enough. Don't wait!

Again, PRIVATE PARTY/CONCERT tickets to the general public will be available
on or about December 15. However, if you are a TOUR BOOK sponsor before
December 15, you may purchase as many tickets as you like now including 2
reduced price tickets at $150 each.
