I remember a college roommate of mine going off on how Roger was really a better guitar player than Pete. This came from the same guy who told me that when Sammy Hagar joined Van Halen that they were going to call the band Van Hagar. I always thought that Roger played guitar so he wouldn't look useless while Pete was singing.
