Re: Guitar Heroes, PT, Page, et al

I have always considered PT one of my all-time favorite guitarists, right
there with Page and Hendrix and Gilmour, especially when I was first
learning guitar. There's nothing like turning your first practice amp up
to 10 and banging out "I Can See For Miles" on guitar and thinking 'hey!
this isn't that hard, it actually sounds kind of like the real thing!' 

Anyway I guess yeah maybe most kids who go for a guitar hero pick the
flashier players, but when I was first learning to play 10 years ago, and
even now, Pete was and is one of my greatest influences. Not necessarily
what he plays, but *how* he plays it.
