Who video

REGARDING Who video
The April issue of the English magazine Record Collector has just hit the news
stands here in Australia and contains the following info on the impending Who
video which I don't believe has been posted to the list before.

The video may run to about 150 minutes and will contain mostly previously
unreleased footage. Research for the video is being done by Chris Charlesworth
and John Atkins (who wrote a two-part video history of the Who for Record
Collector last year). Unseen 60's footage should include extended footage from
their sets at Woodstock and Monterey plus a sparky "Anyway, Anyhow..." from the
1965 Richmond Jazz Festival.

70's footage will include "Young Man Blues" & "I Don't Know Myself" from the
1970 Isle of Wight festival; several tracks from a show that summer at the
Tanglewood Music Shed; an 'Old Grey Whistle Test' performance of "Relay" from
'73; four songs from the legendary Charlton gig in 1974; and post-Moon footage
from Chicago 1979, the Kampuchea concerts, 'Rockpalast' and Shea Stadium 1982.
Some solo footage, plus documentary links, are also possible inclusions in the
set - provisionally entitled '30 Years Of Live Maximum R&B'.

I must go home now and clear a space on my video shelf...

The magazine also makes mention of a Who fanzine out of England called
'Generations'. I seem to remember someone mentioning this before on the list.
Does anyone subscribe and, if so, is it a worthwhile investment???

Denis.
