                                           games. Oakley is great in that
                                           regard. He does a wonderful job
                                           of making sure everybody knows
                                           their assignments. He makes sure
                                           the concentration is always on
                                           defense.''
               
                                           Oakley, the heart and soul of the
                                           Knicks for 10 years - including
                                           Pitino's two years as head coach
                                           (1987-89) - has helped teach his
                                           younger teammates the right way
                                           to go about things in the NBA.
                                           The results speak for themselves,
                                           most notably in the performances
                                           of ex-high school phenom and
                                           second-year pro Tracy McGrady,
