is more fun than "Walker should have passed!  No, he shoulda shot!"  Thanks to
all, and I bear no one any ill will in this.  I have a stressful job, coupled
with a stressful commute.  Reading this board is rapidly becoming a highlight
of my day.  Again, thanks to all of you.  
   But to the topic at hand, journalists who report the truth? C'mon.  Here's
the article reporting the truth:  "The NBA entered the 20th day of lockout.
Players and management  continued to insult each other.  There is no real
news.  Here are Antoine Walker's statistics for the past year, along with
nauseating quantities of other statistics.  The press and public continue to
debate Mr. Walker's worth.  The larger public debates whether billionaire
owners should pay athletes millions of dollars to play games.  Meanwhile,
Congress threatens to disembowel the National Endowment for the Arts.  The NBA
costs less than a single B-1 bomber."  (well, maybe 2 B-1s)
   (Hey, when you go to four Clipper games a year, your perspective gets
warped!)
