Also, the author Michael Rosenbloom is doing a power point, video, and speaking engagement on the history of The Who , including the Union Catholic High School story plus a book signing , in a few weeks from now.

Presentation Scheduled for Fanwood Public Library - October 21st
1927 Bartle Ave Scotch Plains, NJ

Michael Rosenbloom will be taking his interactive PowerPoint presentation of "When Stars Were in Reach" to the Fanwood Public Library on Tuesday, October 21, 2014. Like Cranford, the location of Michael's previous presentation and booksigning, Fanwood is a neighboring community to Scotch Plains. And so, if the Cranford appearance is any indicator, the story of Union Catholic's foray into the rock concert business and The Who's live show there on November 29, 1967 is sure to resonate among the attendees.

At the Cranford appearance, two members of The Decoys (the band that opened for The Who at U.C.) were in the audience. Also present were two former faculty members of Union Catholic. One can only imagine who will grace the audience in a location so close to Union Catholic High School.

To remind the audience, the presentation includes video and audio clips of The Who and is expected to last approximately forty five minutes. It includes a healthy dose of audience participation, and will be followed by a question and answer session. At the end of his presentation, Michael will be available to sell and sign copies of When Stars Were in Reach.

We look forward to seeing you there!
