townshend upbeat in latest blog entry

Pete Townshend's latest blog entry on was upbeat and 
positive. This was Pete's first blog entry since August 2009 when he confirmed that he 
was working on a new rock opera, Floss.

Townshend comments about the Who's upcoming performance o Quadrophenia to 
close out the 2010 Teenage Cancer Trust shows on March 30th at the Royal 
Albert Hall.

Townshend reveals that the band will start rehearsing ten days before the 
show, thus leaving at least a month for him to continue working on Floss. 

Meanwhile, Roger Daltrey will be doing some more solo shows supporting Eric 

Townshend also confirms that he is testing some in-ear monitoring systems 
for both the studio and the stage in an effort to combat his tinnitus. He 
acknowledges that he also wears a Phonak hearing aide the rest of the time. He 
states that he feels "reborn" in some ways as he can now hear birdsong
