A-Rod's bat drowns out most boos in Yankees' rout of Rangers
ARLINGTON - It wasn't hard to figure out when Alex Rodriguez was at the plate Monday. 
First came the boos from Rangers fans getting their first look at the slugger since his steroids admission back in February, then came the sound of Rodriguez's bat punishing another pitch delivered by Texas hurlers...
...As has been the custom at The Ballpark, the PA system blared The Who's "The Kids Are Alright," a not-so-subtle dig at Rodriguez's post-trade comment that he never would have signed in Texas if he knew it would be him and "24 kids" on the team. Of course, one of those kids - Teixeira - is now his teammate in New York, sporting the second-biggest contract in the game behind only A-Rod's 10-year, $275 million deal...
