I was a little surprised at first by how many of the songs people are
mentioning came from Lifehouse.  But, there must have been a trend toward
Country around that time.  The Stones and The Kinks, for instance, both put
out albums that were *heavily* Country tinged; far more so than anything The
Who have ever released.  Much of Let It Bleed (Love in Vain, Country Honk,
You Got the Silver) is flat out Country, while Midnight Rambler and Let It
Bleed have a Country feel.  The Kinks' Muswell Hillbillies is nearly
entirely a Country album.
