Yes, credit was given...at least on the remastered CD I have.  I remember correcting a former friend who said it was Sonny Boy Williamson, and told him it was Mose Allison (as Pete said at LAL, I believe, when intoducing YMB).  I then checked the album and it said Sonny Boy.  The same is on the Tommy movie soundtrack.
