"Or at minimum can anyone tell me what key it's played in on the keyboards?
Our keyboard player says she's bought sheet music for rock songs by other
bands which often tells her to play in the wrong key."
Pete uses alternate tunings and unusual chord progressions that makes his
music hard to describe in a key signature, so whoever makes up the sheet
music you buy will probably be guessing as well. Your keyboard player might
want to have a look at the chords at Whotabs to get an idea of how to play
it.
For songs written in a major key, check the last chord for the key. This
looks to be in A, but then the chord progression looks like he's mixed it up
with D. I believe that's what gives Who music a slightly flat sound.
