The 'French Grasshopper' Interview

Along the line, first, you can't un-ring the bell, what is done is
done. At the time, what was is...

I (in my simplistic mind) see Endless Wire as a result of JAE's
death. Without that tragidy, no album may have been released.

I feel that Endless Wire (for me) is a swan song, a closing of the
'book' as it were. JAE's death allowed Pete the freedom to do what
became EW.

When I saw them perform Tea and Theatre live as the final song,...
just the two of them ... arm in arm, it became the private goodbye
and thank you. When I saw them do it a second time on this tour, it
reinforced that feeling for me.

The tour, the songs on the album, the growth and differences in it
from both Pete's solo work and group work, ...

T & T sums it all up for me.

And I waved good night and goodbye, I thanked them for their efforts
over the years. As the arenas emptied out, I sat and watched.
Remembered, and was happy.

Steve
