I read another, more plausible, theory on some other website:

Just before Roger had trouble breathing, there was some sort of fight near
the front of the stage.  Blood was spilt.  They then used some
industrial-strength cleaner to clear up the mess quickly.


This makes a lot more sense than the "perfume from someone in the crowd
theory".


So, unless you've been spraying them with cleaning fluid, I think Roger
would have survived your greeting cards.
