I might have the song order mixed up on a couple, but that's what they
played last night. Definitely mixed around the set from the Philly show.
Running time- 120 minutes

Comments-

my seat, in row 11, was fantastic (right in front of Pete)- from there, the
sound was very good. The Hot Seats are actually in front of row 1, and those
sitting there get this kind of goodie bag.

Among the things that make this show different, are the extensive use of
backdrop films. Never has a Who tour been so high tech- the lasers from the
late 1970s are gone but the use of film more than replaces it.

The older songs, for the most part- were played flawlessly, particularly the
Tommy stuff at the end.

Eminence Front was a good addition to the set, but you really miss John on
that one.

For the new songs-

Fragments will be a very good number, although it is very similar to Baba.
Wire and Glass, I thought they played pretty well. Black Widow Eyes also
seems like it might be good, but does not work well on stage.

Tea and Theatre was a poor choice, particularly to end the show. If it must
be in the encore, let it come first rather than last.

Roger forgot a verse of Mike Post, but otherwise it was a more tighter than
average show.

There were about 16,000 there- not quite sold out, but mostly sold out. I
did not see too many empty seats.

Both Roger and Pete seemed to be in good moods throughout. I wonder if Roger
was having some voice trouble by the end though, not in how he sang but how
he acted.

This was my 27th Who show, and I guess I'd have to put in the bottom half of
shows I've seen. I do give them a lot of credit for trying something new and
different, but the new songs need to be limited at least until the album
comes out.

I never thought I'd think this, but they actually do need to toss in a
couple more of the old classics to make it a better show. Drop Mike Post and
Black Widow, bring back a Quad number and some old Who nugget like Magic
Bus. This is the first Who show I've been to, in which some of the people
leaving seemed disappointed.
