>The latest setlist has both Cry & Eminence Front in it, as you requested!
>Of course, you're already on your way to Boston, so I'll tell you this at
>The Harp.

And, Mike Post Theme too!
Bring on NE at MSG and I'm batting about 1000.

Well, I'm back and again nestled safely in the woods of The Green Mountains
of VT.
Feelin' like dirt, thank you very much, but really not too bad. Rainin'
here so it's football and the couch instead of the sailing I had planned.
I'm actually relieved. I need rest!

First off, I haven't heard a Who concert that loud in a long, long time.
My ears hurt. They're still feeling cloudy (as is my head). My friend bill
asked if wanted plugs before we left, and I said no. The moment ICE took
off I was regretting that call.
My voice is gone.
Pino is so loud in the mix, I could feel him in my chest.

This was one of those 'enjoy the moment' shows where I just get lost soaking
up the music and having a blast with friends and everyone around us at our
seats that I had to repeatedly remind myself to focus on what the band was
doing. Definitely not a stand and analyze. That may be NY.

>From what I could tell....
Well, let me put it this way....I didn't hear or see a flub by Pete all
night. Roger's voice sounded superb. Really, superb. The new music just
fits him to his bones. He's so into it and fully committed. He has a new
role to play and is loving it. Pete was blistering.

Zak................is the bomb. A monster. My buddy Jess who is a drummer
was blown away. Hell, we all were....again.

This was a very structured presentation. I think the coordinated videos
takes away some spontaneity....some of the extended jams. The new material
also contributes to that. It came across as a well rehearsed show. That's
not a negative, just different. Feeling more like the Quad tours.
But, let me be clear, this show by The Who (this tour) blows away anything
you can see live right now.
They are absolutely driven and on fire. In top form. They're making a
statement. The mix of songs and new material just fit so well, and
everything rocked!
It was unbelievably exciting to not know what was coming next, and to hear
songs you never heard before......to see songs being played live that you've
only just learned....to go through the process together of including this
new stuff into their catalog. It really did feel...as Pete said.....like a
beginning, not an end.
You could feel the charge in everyone at the show.

Pre Show!!!!!!!!!
So many familiar faces!
Good to see you nutters, and meet a few new tickets that I've seen pictures
of and read things about.

Thanks to Jim M. for paging me.
I was circling the bar just shouting out "Jim. Jim Menimo" about ever 10
feet!
It didn't work. But I did meet some new people that way!

But where was MC????????????????????
No MC!!!!!!!!!!!
Well, at least no guy in a boiler suit.
Everyone was asking where he was!
It was the great boiler suit no show!
We left to enter venue at about 8, so if he arrived after that.....I'm sorry
I missed it.

Who has the set list for Boston???
I want to revisit and trigger memories!

Well, time to rest.
Early flight to NY tomorrow.
Look out Schrade.....here I come!

Jon, Joe, Jim........"Boys night out! Boys night out! Boys night out!"
