I guess, but I've never heard of such a thing. If I heard this on the radio
then bought the single, I'd be like, "what the fuck happened?" What's worse
is you may not even buy the single, cause the radio version sucks.

I can't tell if the music is the same or not, but Daltrey's vocals are
clearly different. There are places where he phrases lines completely
differently, so it's not just a re-mix of the same performance, Pete has
actually swapped in a different take of Roger's vocals. Perhaps it's
*because* I've listened to the single so much that I find the other one so
objectionable, but to me it sounds unpolished, like it was one of those
'sketch vocals' Pete mentioned Roger does.
