Apparently you have to have a subscription to see the complete charts, but
it's there under the "artist" profile. That's outrageous, eh? Their first
album in 24 years and their single cracked the rock Top 40 right away. :)

I've been looking around at the Billboard site to see when the charts are
updated but there's not much info that I can find. Thursdays?

Given the current immoral state of the music industry, I'm wondering
(somewhat cynically) about how immediate charting is accomplished. Is it a
measure of radio stations' confidence in The Who? The fact that DJs like
the song? That fans are requesting it? Or does it mean Universal is
shoveling payola to the stations to play it? Hmmm. Maybe recent fines have
cut down on that?

I'm pretty excited about the Top 40 thing, regardless. I'm looking around
for local radio stations that are suitable for emails requesting "It's Not
Enough." I guess that's connecting with a lot of people, eh? "I can't love
you enough to make you complete..."
