issue of Newsweek magazine....

NEWSWEEK:  During your last tour, your band ate
breakfast onstage while you played solo.  I hear you
have puppets this time.

BECK:  Yeah.  We made puppets based on all the band
members, & we have puppeteers mimicking all our move-
ments....I wanted to have a whole band built out of robots,
& their limbs would fly off from doing Pete Townshend 
windmills.
