This got me wondering what was actually on the Johnny Was soundtrack.

So I found a tracklisting for the soundtrack at:
http://taxcider.blogspot.com/ The bottom of this page also includes a
couple of Johnny Was trailers.

Tracklisting is:

2 Bad Card - Weed Specialist

Adrian Sherwood - Stepping Crowd
Adrian Sherwood - Trot One Off
Adrian Sherwood - Zero Zero One
Adrian Sherwood - X Planation

Afro Celt Soundsystem - Whirl-Y-Reel 1

Beanie Man - In the Ghetto

Creation Rebel - Space Movement 5

Congo Ashanti Roy - Breaking Down the Pressure

Congo Natty - Banana Boat Man
Congo Natty - H.I.M. War

Dennis Bovell - Different Dub

Dub Syndicate - African Landing
Dub Syndicate - Fight the Power
Dub Syndicate - Stoned Immaculate

Ganja Kru - Super Sharp Shooter

Ghetto Priest/Ri Ra - Rise Up

Harry Beckett - Monsters

Samia Farah - Homesick Blues Dub

Sam Sarpong - Brixton Party

Singers and Players - Bloodshed dub

The Abyssinians - Satta Massagana

Yellowman - Zungguzungguguzungguzeng

This looks like ALL reggae songs, then. Not really to my taste. I've heard
of a few of the artists, but the only song that I recognise here is "In The
Ghetto". But I could imagine that, in the context of the film, the songs
would work well and sound good.

Doesn't seem to be any plans to release this soundtrack on CD anytime soon.

No music by Roger then, which is probably just as well. A Daltrey song on
this soundtrack would stick out like Pete's thumb at the end of a world
tour.
