Yeah, I've got the Manhunter DVD and the Red Dragon book too. I enjoyed all the Lector books and movies. But the Manhunter film is the classic one among them. The only problem with the film is that it's early 80's style makes it seem dated now, but that's just a minor niggle.
I've also ready "Black Sunday" - one of Harris's first (non-Lector) books. It was clever in parts, but a lot more hard work to read it.
I've just noticed, on Amazon, a new Harris book: Hannibal Rising. Released 5th December - that's next week!
(Not quite sure why we're discussing Thomas Harris books...)
