Thought Houston was better than Dallas, mainly because Roger's voice
was about to give out in Dallas. And yes, Pete was on fire in
Houston. However, in Dallas I saw the first true *triple* ending of
WGFA I think I've ever seen. In Houston, Pete was on fire as you
mentioned, with a monster flurry of windmills at the (first) ending
of WGFA. But the attempted triple ending wasn't as crisp coming out
of the second ending, so it lost some punch. Maybe he was worn out
from his previous efforts. Not the best Who show I've ever sen, but
Pete and Roger put their hearts into it as always, and the audience
was wowed.

He's been doing that pretty much on cue starting in 2002. That and
the Birdman on the climactic E of Sparks. They are now predictable,
but I still love them. But because they're predictable, I feel like
the MSG crowd shouting "Jump, Pete, jump!"... I expect the mike
slide...right...NOW, and the Birdman...NOW, and if I didn't get them
I would be surprised. But for the last two years it's been like
clockwork.
