OK, so I'm sitting in my office just now and someone brings me an ad from the Boston Globe for the 12/2 show.  When she leaves the guy I was talking to tells me he heard a DJ talking about their new album recently.  He says he heard it on WBCN, which is the biggest rock station in Boston.  OK, this is cool, I think.  Then he goes on to tell me the guy was saying the best & the worst albums of the year were released last week...the Deftones were the best & The Who were the worst.  Apparently the DJ really ripped into Roger and said his voice is shot.  So, I go on their site and poke around a little.  There's a page with upcoming area shows and The Who's 12/2 show isn't even listed!

Anyway, the classic rock station in town does hype the shows and give tickets away, etc.  It would definitely have been nice to get some props from a station that plays current music, but I guess that's not in the cards.
