Trilby's Piano

"Trilby and Hymie are two older relatives of the kids in Glass Household.
They fall in love against the objections of their families and the kids do a
play about it (Trilby's Piano)."
 
Oops.  I really thought Trilby was one of the kids.  I never read TBWHM, so I'm at a disadvantage as to the plot.  But my few listens to the song give me the impression that the song is from the piano's point of view, speaking of how excited it gets to be played the way the kid plays it.
