An additional 20 years of *possible* more work at a midline level, vs.
playing with established international mega-stars in support of an
"exploding" album?

Plus, think of all the potential future work after he's done with The
Who (in the exploding album scenario)?

WOW!!! I can't believe Kevin has done such a 180 on The Who. An "exploding" album? I sure hope he is right about this, but it seems so uncharacteristic for one of our most ardent skeptics here at IGTC. After all, we have seen critically acclaimed albums from McCartney and The Stones do only lukewarm sales, and those were promoted in a big way. The Who of late does only minimal promotion ahead of their tours and releases, so I assume Kevin is banking on a major change in how The Who's management is approaching the album and tour. I guess if Kevin is this optimistic, we're in for something big. BRING IT ON!!
