DALTREY TO PLAY AT ARSENAL GIG

THE WHO rocker ROGER DALTREY has agreed to perform at
a special celebration to mark his favourite soccer
team's move to a new stadium.

The veteran musician - currently recording the band's
first studio album in 24 years - will bid farewell to
Arsenal Football Club's Highbury ground, their home
for 93 years, after the final match there on Sunday
(07MAY06).

Next season they will play at the state of the art
Emirates Stadium. Daltrey's spokesman says, "He has
done lots of stuff for the club in the past and was
very flattered to be asked.

"The main thing was, could he fit it in while making
the album? He is taking the performance really
seriously."
