Gettin' in tune - clearing this up...

Just to clarify this as I may have created some confusion.
As mentioned originally 'Rabbit' is a professional musician, he is given
what to play and plays it brilliantly. I couldn't imagine any other
keyboardist for The Who and is unique which makes his playing extra special
in my opinion. He adds a certain sounds to The Who where Jon Carin could
not. Carin is better suited for Pete solo shows where 'Rabbit' in The Who
rips up the Hammond like a hurricane on stage.
He is a Who fan from the standpoint in that he knows the music better than
any of us in regards to playing a specific role in the world's greatest live
rock and roll band as well as having the best seat in the house!
Also don't forget "Rabbit" is an accomplished solo artist in his own right.
He doesn't have the time to be Who fan like the way we are. Just take a look
at his resume which by the way I need to update:

Also look at his roots in music and who he has played with. He has played
with Johnny Nash, Bob Marley, Eric Burdon and so on. Is he a fan of there
music? Probably not but that's not the point. The point is the fact that
Pete made the wisest choice in choosing a professional musician with whim he
could rely on to play The Who's music as a keyboardist all those years ago
and The Who have kept him for good reason.
In my books I would say he is a Who fan of an extraordinary caliber.
