This really was wonderful. Yesterday morning when I woke up, I would never
have dreamed that I was ever going to see The Who live again - ever. I
never expected The Who to play near my home town again - London is the
closest place they'd play, and that would require a hotel stay. And getting
a babysitter for my 3 old daughter is complicated. And by the time she's
old enough to look after herself, The Who will be long gone. (Sorry, but
that's true.)

Then I got to work, and heard the surprise announcement that they were going
to play in Brighton (and on a Sunday too!), it possible to see them again.

And then there's the extra excitement of seeing them play new material too!

The Brighton Centre is smallish, I guess (depends what you compare it too.)
Certainly smaller than I would expect The Who to be playing at the moment.
I guess they're playing there as they have some kind of "special
relationship" with Brighton. Who knows.

The Brighton Centre is where The Jam played their final concert. I've seen
Ocean Colour Scene there before. As well as The Fast Show, and (bizarrely)
The Communards and Winnie the Pooh. And I've already got 3 tickets to see
The Wiggles there in July!

There was tickets for a standing area too. But my poor wife is going to
moan enough about being dragged along to another Who concert. I though that
the least I could do is give her somewhere to sit during the show.
