Today's Jerry may have to try just a little harder to
stay svelte, which may be why she has signed up for a
baking campaign with the makers of Splenda sweetener.

But that doesn't mean she's not up for neighbourly
chats over a cuppa.

"I often have coffee with my friend across the
street," she says. It's just what any woman
approaching 50 might say. But then she lets something
slip about her social set...

"He's called Pete Townsend," she reveals, naming The
Who's veteran guitarist. It seems the good times are
still rolling.
