Blood on the tracks...

A recap, if you will.

Kevin has been banned from the list; Keets is out of sorts and feeling
under-appreciated; Paul probably feels bad about how things ended up. I
think Clinton was in office when the last person was banned from igtc.

This was all so unnecessary!

It spiraled out of control when a rift between two capable people turned into
the taking of sides. This was a simple argument (an elevated discussion.)

So Who started it? Who cares? Can we get a *do over* here?

Paul: so you've had enough of Kevin. Did he know he was in the cross hairs?

It just seemed very arbitrary. You both have strong personalities and you
had to know how Kevin would react to a public wrist slap. You took Keets'
side and then pushed Kevin into a corner. I don't think you meant to do this
unless you really had it in for him. I don't believe you did.

Then Kevin pushed you into a corner.

You were like, "Who died and made you list Admin?"
He was like, "Jesus, Keets is passing unverified info...don't you see?"
You were like, "You're on thin ice..."
He was like, "WTF, I didn't know I was skating...."
You were like, "You are .....I can show you the door"
He was like, "Break the ice. show me the door"
You were like, "Make my day, punk!"
He was like, ........
......flat line.......

So if you see it within yourself to give Kevin a second chance I'm sure
this can be resolved and everyone will rise to the occasion.

With respect to Keets:

It's true that Keets moves a lot of information on the Who forums and
lists, but as Spinner says, "not all facts offer the truth", or something
to that
effect. Do I benefit from this information? Yes, most of the time. I think
she's a huge contributor to the list. I appreciate Keets' contributions.

She's a *connector* and a *maven* when it comes to Who content.
Sometimes Keets will post a topic and then respond to that post
before I even see the original. She's probably responsible for 1/3 of the
posts on the list. That in itself is pretty impressive.
But, is Keets beyond reproach? I don't think anyone is.

Was Keets being *picked on* by Kevin, or does Kevin pose a legitimate
question? With all due respect to Keets, I think there's some weight
to Kevin's question. It's a healthy criticism in my opinion.

I think we still need room on the list to disagree, and not like each
other's posts, or each other's style of posting. We can even not like
each other and still have a productive discussion as long as there are
no personal attacks. I don't recall any personal attacks in this exchange.

That's all I'm going to say about this, but it's a very bad day for this list.
