I'd love to paint more of a picture, but, as you know, memories fade fast.

The song cycle really did start brilliantly.  Really heavy.  Grabs your
attention and makes you go "Wow".

"We Have a Hit" is really catchy, singalong (nay - shoutalong) stuff.  But
there was also one other section which was just as good.

One line was "In the Ether", but I don't think it was the actual song "In
The Ether".  (Sorry Bruce - I think your Leeds set list needs correcting
again   ;-) .)

Ended with Mirror Door, which is OK as a pop song (RGLB-style), but it's far
from the best song in the opera.

PS: just remembered one more thing about last night (and then I'll shut up
about it - honest).  Just before The Who came on, they played "Fake Plastic
Trees" by Radiohead over the PA.  As you may know, Radiohead are my Number 2
favourite band.  But they faded it out when the show started.  So, when The
Who came on stage, I was shouting (only slightly sarcastically) "Put
Radiohead Back On!".
