>(making money from the sick is not the kind of profession I prefer..)

Assuming you're serious.....
No offense, but that's one of the most ignorant statements I've every
read....anywhere.
Speaking on behalf of my colleagues, and all that work in the
frustrating healthcare field,....you ain't got a clue.
Write to me off list if you want to be educated, 'cause you're in
desperate need.
There's a saying......'Doctors don't make money....they pay off
bills....if they're lucky.'

>actually, at least for the moment, I'm fine the way I
>am. may have to lose weight but I can do that pretty easily.

And therein may lie your distain for doctors. Told ya you were
overweight, did they? We consider obesity an addiction and disease.

>that's why they're all je*rk-offs! lol.

Hoping you're not serious with *that* statement!

.....but I just.....can't.....tell.......

Whether
>>I would ever be as much fun, or as gorgeous, is another story."

> <<<HEAVY SIGH>>> "We were about to do that"?...Then they didn't?
Because
>of OASIS?!!

Come on! You actually believe that?
Pete's full of shit.
He sits in these interviews waiting for the asker to ask something
stupid, and if he/she does, he makes up answers....to phuk with
them.....and also Zak.
Yes, Zak's schedule changed Pete's creativeness and art.
B...........S.

Nor do I.
Like you said, it's a crock.
While Pete may have a part of him that is miffed, I don't think (in his
heart of hearts) he blames Zak at all.
Ahhh, the duality of man.....

>Wire and Glass. Pete "We hope you like it." DO NOT FEAR. THE WHO
HAVE DONE IT. Within two seconds of playing, I
>thought - "wow, this Rocks!". It's really heavy in places. Classic
Who. Great Anthems. We're all gong to be singing >"We have a Hit!"
this summer. 6 songs, ending in Mirror Door.

THANK YOU!!!!
I've read every word of reviews from Leeds, set lists (which give me
hope!...hear that Bruce....HOPE!), talk of this and that...but no review
of the new material.
Official reviews list set list, mention the new material and then stop!
UNTIL NOW!
Martin Bailey comes out with a 'two thumbs up!'
"It's really heavy in places." Mmmmmmmm, I like heavy.
"Classic Who." Well, gee, I LIKE THE WHO!
"Great Anthems." As we like to say....."THAT WON'T HURT YA!"
"We're all gong to be singing >"We have a Hit!" this summer." Now
that's something to hold on to.

Thanks Martin!
I'd be very interested in hearing more!
What was the flow like? Mood? Was it classic Who roller coaster?
Guitar slashing?
Paint us a picture! :-) Please?

>But inevitably, playing new stuff is always going to get a muted
reaction from an unforgiving crowd. I felt like I was
>the only person cheering at the end of it.

Uh-oh.

Not to fret...
All the reviews are glowing!
