Mirror Door

Just heard the new song for the first time.

Lots of namedropping. Doris Day. Elvis. Bobby Darin. Eddie C. Johnny
Cash. Amadeus.

As for the chorus: "Who will walk through the Mirror Door":

"'A mirror door. We will all pass through it one day, and find peace. You'll
find peace.'"- Pete Townshend, TBWHM

"Such events in the Black Hole seem to be reserved for a select few, and yet
the mirror door is still partly ajar, beckoning at the top of the little
staircase from Trilby's Piano that will soon be wheeled away again to one
side" - Pete Townshend, TBWHM

So the Mirror Door is a gateway to some sort of afterlife, or "heaven",
where you can meet old dead rock stars. Like Elvis, etc.

So is the meaning:

"Who will walk through the Mirror Door"? ie: which of us is not afraid
to pass into the afterlife?

or:

The "Who will walk through the Mirror Door". Meaning, one day, all the
members of the Who will once again be reunited, beyond the Mirror Door...?

After the song, the DJ says: album released in September. Single released
on July 10th. That's the first time we've heard those dates.

Keep on climbing,
